Scope of Work
Prep and clear coat with lacquer doors and base ad case.
Challenges
The process to clear coat with lacquer requires 5 steps. Initial sanding followed by two coats of lacquer, more final sanding and then one last coat of lacquer. Controlled temperatures, proper ventilation, and plenty of space is a must. A steady hand and consistent movement makes for even coats and avoids sagging and pooling. It looks a lot easier than it is.
