Our 7-Step Procedure for Cabinet Projects

Removing hardware is simple enough but we go the extra mile and label each set of hardware and store away in tupperware containers. No loose lying hardware!
Masking requires a lot of patience while employing the proper techniques so that paint does not end up inside cabinets or on flooring, walls or countertops.
Getting the grease off of the wood is an essential first step in wood surface preparation. If the grease is not thoroughly removed first all other following steps are pointless.
We use state of the art HEPA vacuum systems to sand down the clear coat finish on all surfaces. HEPA vacs collect all the dust right down to very fine particulates keeping your home dust free.
Priming is required on all cabinetry to seal in old paint and or tanins that could resurface and compromise the top coats.
After priming more sanding is required to make all surfaces completely smooth and ready to receive top coats.
All the cabinetry we paint receives two coats of a waterborne lacquer, a true cabinet grade lacquer that is used by most cabinet fabricator/manufacturers.
