Smooth & Uniformed Surfaces

This old retail space is in a 120 year old historical building in Idaho Springs. The show room area went through years of neglect and required an extra amount of patch work to the damaged plaster walls.
Employee Owned Commitment

Because we are an employee owned company every staff member has a vested interest in the success of the company. Therefore every crew member cares about the satisfaction of our clients.
Complete Surface Preparation

We have all the gear and skill sets to reach even the trickiest parts of a home. This side of the house had a tree really close to the structure that would not allow for ladder sets from the ground. The solution was to rappel down from the chimney.
Mountain Area Expertise

Sun and weather can be brutal on a home’s exterior, especially at our altitudes. It gets worse if it’s been neglected for a few years on top of that. This small, once charming cabin, was a great example.
Product Knowledge

Knowing the right products to use and their proper application comes with the over 60 years of combined experience we bring to every project.
Exterior May Project

All the surfaces to be painted black where up against the main body of the house that was stucco. It is always a challenge to mask off to stucco. We have to use really strong adhesive tape to get it to stick. This kind of project requires a lot of masking off for very little surface area that is actually painted.
Stucco & Log Project

Painting Stucco is always a challenge in that one has to be certain to apply paint from all angles to get into the porous nature of the stucco texture. The garage doors and barn doors had to be completely sanded before staining and final clear coat.
Deck Restoration

The entire deck had to be grinded down to remove existing solid stain and then sanded smooth twice using two different grits of sand paper.
Exterior June Project

The whole southern side of the house had extreme sun damage. The tanans had raised out onto the surface of the wood so much that the wood was almost black in appearance.
Exterior June 2013

Often times it is hard to tell what painters are actually doing. It is because we are taking into account what shouldn’t happen as much as what we want to happen. I think we are starting to mask off the stonework so we can stain the woodwork above.
