After days of sanding (which,amazingly, did not create any mess because their sanding equipment collected all the dust as they went along), Tom tried several stains and layers to achieve the final result, which absolutely matched the other undamaged walls. We could not be happier with the final result, and the final price for the project was very reasonable, given the complexity. Tom is very pleasant to deal with, as were the other members of his crew. Tom is a perfectionist, doing the final sanding himself to make sure it was completely smooth to accept the stain without any imperfections. The work-site wasn't immediately cleaned with deck furniture returned to the deck; for some reason they removed (and littered the ground with) the roof's snow guards which are needed and hard to replace; they removed the outside lightbulbs and didn't replace them; they forgot to paint the chimney although Tom did return to do that (with not quite the color I wanted), that kind of thing. I really loved working with Tom, and I get the sense this was just not the job he usually does and was very disappointed in his crew.
